1. Who this notice covers
Proxique is the controller of personal data collected through its pre-launch invite and waitlist pages. This notice covers people who open an invite, join or confirm the waitlist, use a referral link, or ask Proxique to handle a privacy request.
2. Data we collect
- Your email address and its confirmation or unsubscribe status.
- Your X handle when it is attached to a private invite or you provide it for a Founding Predictor role. Proxique does not verify ownership through X OAuth or collect follower data.
- Invite and referral codes, the referrer, campaign source and UTM parameters, invite wave or variant, relevant timestamps, waitlist or founding status, queue position, and manual Discord-role handoff status.
- An attribution log of meaningful actions such as invite clicks, signup, confirmation, and confirmed referral credit.
These pages do not collect wallet addresses, payments, X passwords, or X ownership evidence. Proxique has no token and no points system exists today.
4. Why we use the data
Proxique uses this data to reserve and attribute invite seats, send and record double-opt-in confirmation, provide waitlist and referral status, apply confirmed referral credit once, support manual Founding Predictor role grants, send the transactional messages you request, prevent signup abuse, answer privacy requests, and comply with law. Referral credit is awarded only after the referred email is confirmed.
5. Lawful basis
Proxique relies on your consent for the emails you request by signing up and confirming your address. You may withdraw that consent at any time through the unsubscribe link. Proxique relies on legitimate interests to operate and secure the waitlist, preserve first-touch attribution, calculate referral and queue status, and prevent duplicate or abusive credit. It relies on legal obligation where processing is needed to respond to applicable law or exercise data-protection rights.
7. Retention and security
Referral and campaign cookies expire after no more than 60 days. Unconfirmed signup records are removed after the confirmation period and reasonable abuse-prevention window no longer require them. Confirmed waitlist and attribution records are kept while they are needed to provide access and referral status, reviewed at least annually, and deleted or anonymised when that purpose ends. A minimal suppression record may be kept after unsubscribe so the preference remains honoured. When an erasure request is completed, identifying email, X-handle, rank, notes, and confirmation-token data is deleted or irreversibly replaced; non-identifying attribution and event records may remain so aggregate queue and audit records stay consistent. Longer retention applies only where law, a dispute, or security evidence requires it.
Proxique uses proportionate access controls and technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may ask for access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection, or a portable copy of your personal data. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Proxique may ask for reasonable evidence to confirm that a request relates to your email address. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office or your local data-protection authority.
9. Age
Proxique is intended for people aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. If Proxique learns that a child has submitted data, it will delete that data.
10. Contact and erasure requests
To exercise a right, request erasure, or ask a privacy question, email sales@proxique.com. Include the email address used to join the waitlist so Proxique can locate the correct record.
